The Sheep Flock

The sheep live out doors all year, lambing in late April to early May in the meadows where they spend the summer. As autumn approaches the sheep are moved on to the downs to graze either on grass or turnips specially grown for the sheep for winter-feed.
They spend all winter at the top of the farm on the light chalk soil and this in turn adds fertility for the following arable crops.
We can provide lamb for sale in freezer packs, either as a half lamb or whole, this is professionally butchered and packed and labelled ready for the freezer. The large pack will include a whole leg joint, whole shoulder joint, one leg halved and one shoulder halved, and then there will be a selection of chump chops and lamb cutlets.

Note that due to seasonality lamb is not available all year round but generally available October to March.
